Brian Do is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering Department and a member of the Collaborative Robotics and Intelligent Systems Institute. He leads the Do Robotics Lab, which explores the design, modeling, and control of innovative robotic systems. Before joining Oregon State, he was a postdoctoral researcher in Mechanical Engineering at Yale University working with Prof. Rebecca Kramer-Bottiglio. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University with Prof. Allison Okamura in 2023 and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2017. He was named a Trailblazer in Engineering Fellow in 2023 and a Robotics: Science and Systems Pioneer in 2022. Outside of research, Prof. Do is passionate about outreach and improving inclusivity in STEM.
